Mall seasonal set
A seasonal set is not a few objects left in an atrium; it is a piece of ground laid out in the mall's main entrance void — a timber deck, a ring of real planters, a belt line, a few ground lights — and then four pieces turn it into a spring you can queue for, sit in and photograph. The blossom gate is the threshold, the ever-blooming tree stands at the centre and fixes the colour, the two facing hearts hold whoever is waiting for someone, and the giant deck chair waits at the back, and a family poses in front of it. The mall is still the same stone and glass; this season it simply has one pink patch of ground.

The giant deck chair
The family photo point at the back of the zone, against the slatted screen: people pose in front of or beside the chair. Nobody climbs it; the ladder is part of the sculpture.

Flower treeAt the centre of the zone, on a 3.5 m oak planter-seat you can sit on, real spring planting inside the ring and uplights throwing light into the crown.
